Renee DeAngelis - Director of Operations, Owner
Renee DeAngelis started working at PG during the construction of the Belmont gym. At the end of construction she started working on the front desk and quickly took on more responsibility, from Retail Buyer to Gym Manager to her current position. Renee is based out of all three locations, and oversees the entire PG family, ensuring each of our gyms offer the same quality experience.

Parsons Smith - Director of Finance, Owner
Parsons Smith started working at PG shortly after the first gym in Santa Clara opened. She has worked in every aspect of our business, from Front Desk to Memberships and now as Owner & Director of Finance. Today, she oversees all the financial transactions of Planet Granite-everything from a sale at our registers to the overall costs of running each facility! She is based out of our SF gym or otherwise found chasing her young daughter and/or surfing our coast!

Carolyn Link - Project Manager
Carolyn has been climbing since January 2004 and loves all aspects of climbing, but especially loves trad climbing. A native San Franciscan, she loves commuting around town on her bike and also likes to run.

Stephanie Ko Pound - Marketing & Regional Manager

Stephanie has been climbing since 2001. The first time her brother took her to Indian Rock in Berkeley, she knew she was hooked. She started out as a boulderer, but always longed to sport climb. On winter weekends, she can be found shivering at Jailhouse, and she loves to roadtrip to Rifle and the Red in the warmer months. About once per year, she'll place some gear, but her heart stays with sport climbing.

She worked as a routesetter for about 6 years, until she moved into the Project Manager role, managing the retail shop, instructing classes and helping out anywhere else she was needed. She started managing PG Sunnyvale in 2008, and moved to Marketing and Regional Manager in 2012.

Beth Lim - Finance Manager

Beth is originally from the East Coast, has lived all over the world, and has loved the transition to the Bay Area.  Previously a corporate professional, she now works as a rock climbing guide / instructor and enjoys being able to call the outdoors her office.   Beth is excited to be part of the Planet Granite team, and looks forward to actually being able to crush with her coworkers!   

Casey Gray - Facilities Manager

Casey is a California native who grew up camping in the Sierra, including yearly trips to the Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne Meadows and Lake Tahoe. While fishing the Merced with his Dad, Casey found his eyes attracted to the small specks of life working hard up on El Cap. This was all it took to plant the climbing seed - 7 years of bouldering finally gave way to plugging gear and high times off the deck. For 10 years Casey has enjoyed climbing throughout the High Sierra, Jtree, Squamish, Lake Tahoe and the Nor Cal coast.

A lifer from the start, Casey is dedicated to his involvement in the local climbing community - From keeping Planet Granite looking good from behind the scenes as Facilities Manager, to volunteering his time among the sandstone boulders of Castle Rock State Park.

Alex Wilson - Accounts Payable

Alex grew up in the shadow of the great Rocky Mountains. He spent much of his adolescence scrambling up cliffs and peaks. Since then, not much has changed. After graduating from Lewis & Clark College, he explored a bit and found himself in San Francisco. He is excited to find new adventures in the area, eat great food, and bike long distances. Someday, he will play the mandolin like Bill Monroe, wish him luck.
