Marisa is a lifelong fitness enthusiast with over 17 years of experience competing in endurance events. When she is not competing, she enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through sports such as rock climbing, snowboarding, swimming, cycling and running. Marisa views injury prevention as central to physical performance, infusing techniques from Yoga, Pilates and Barre into her fitness practices. Marisa teaches a variety of fitness classes including indoor cycling, TRX, Pilates and Barre. She is a Youth Running Club Coach and a Brand Ambassador for SOAS Racing All Women’s Triathlon Team. She loves to see people challenge themselves physically and mentally in pursuit of their goals.

As a sports massage therapist, fitness trainer, and sports nutritionist, Lauren has a passionate understanding of the human body. She works with all fitness abilities and seeks to meet your individual goals in a fun, supportive environment. You can expect to get a personalized work out that will focus on functional strength: exercise that improves your ability for everyday tasks or sports skills, builds overall strength, and augments your resistance to injury. She’ll emphasize improving balance, strength, agility, endurance, and all while making your specific goals top priority. Having worked with many clients in different stages of health (injured, rehabbing from surgeries, or seeking their peak shape), she’s perfect for whatever level your body is at.
