    Must be screenshot of school web portal, or other school document showing that you are currently enrolled in at least 12 units as an undergrad and at least 9 units as a graduate student. Your name, the school’s name, the current term, and the total units or your enrollment status must be visible in the screenshot. Eighteen-year-old high school students may submit a copy of their High School ID. Students under 18 do not need to provide proof. If proof of credits cannot be provided, a letter from your school/advisor stating that you are a full-time student will suffice.

    Family Proof

    Married couples, domestic partners, and parents with children under 18 DO NOT need to provide Family Proof. All others must provide family proof. Roommates do not qualify for a family membership. Copies of drivers licenses, leases, and other formal mail such as bills are acceptable proof of address. Separate documents can be submitted for each person on the family account, or a screenshot showing both documents can be submitted as a single document.

  1. Freeze Your Monthly Membership

  2. Monthly membership freezes start on the 1st of the month and must be requested in advance of the start day. A $10 freeze fee* will be billed in place of regular monthly dues for the duration of the freeze. All monthly freezes are indefinite and last until members request to thaw or cancel their account.

    *Family accounts, where one or more members are remaining active while one or more remain frozen will be billed at the rate applicable to the number of active members. There is no additional freeze fee on top of these dues.

  1. Freeze Your Yearly Membership

  2. Yearly members, having prepaid for the year in full, can freeze starting any time. Freezes must last entire months, so that if a freeze begins on the 4th of a month, you must thaw on the 4th of a later month. There is a $10/month freeze fee payable at the front desk. Once paid, your membership expiration date will be extended by the same number of months you were frozen*.

    Family accounts, where a member is frozen and another member is active, will owe $10 per month frozen, and the expiration date will be extended by half the duration of the freeze. For example, if one of two members is frozen for two months, both members’ expiration dates will be extended by one month once the freeze fees have been paid.

    All cancellations will take effect at close of business on the last day of a calendar month. Requests must be submitted before the 1st of the month. As of the 1st, you are "locked in" and will be billed on the 15th of that month. To remove a person from your family membership, please email membership@planetgranite.com directly.
