An event every week that begins at 4:30pm on Thursday, repeating until July 27, 2023
This class is designed to teach and refine the foundational elements of yoga asana. Particular emphasis is placed on alignment, body position and breathing. Yoga foundations takes on a hatha-vinyasa blend, combining heightened attention to alignment while also linking breath to movement. It is often taught at a slower pace in order to ensure that students are set up optimally in their bodies. Students will build strength, flexibility and a strong schema for many of the most commonly practiced yoga postures.
This class is an excellent choice for newer practitioners, as well as those who seek to fine-tune their alignment and practice.
Please note: spots for yoga and fitness classes can’t be held by registering online. Members can attend any class that isn’t full, at any time. Non-members must purchase a day pass, or attend as a guest.
