Episode 10: Breathing Techniques

Breathing is something so simple, and something everyone does but it often gets overlooked in our toolkit for sending! Get the lowdown on breathing techniques, and why it’s important from PGSV Yoga Program Manager.

DRILL: Match your Breath

Before you start a route or a boulder problem, work on matching your inhale to your exhale. While chalking up or reading the route, pay attention to your breath. Inhale for 4 seconds, then exhale for 4 seconds. Do this 3-4 times and try to keep that breath while you are climbing.
