Yin yoga opens up the deep, dense, connective tissues and joints of the body which are not often reached in an active yang yoga class. Each class offers a series of poses held for a considerable length of time to allow for complete and passive release. The mind and body are given a chance to relax and unwind. This class is appropriate for students interested in increasing flexibility, releasing tension and preparing the body for longer periods of seated meditation.
Please note: spots for yoga and fitness classes can’t be held by registering online. Members can attend any class that isn’t full, at any time. Non-members must purchase a day pass, or attend as a guest.
