F10 Fitness

WHAT IS F10 FITNESS?

F10 Fitness not only adapts and develops exercises to improve participants’ overall fitness, but physically and mentally challenges participants above and beyond their initial capabilities.
This is an all inclusive fitness program designed for individuals to challenge themselves and push each other. It enhances physical strength, reduces weaknesses, builds community through team cohesion and also supports and encourages new participants with limited experience and confidence. F10 Fitness classes include skills in gymnastics, weightlifting and cardio or metabolic conditioning sports. The workouts are conducted in varied methods and times to keep the participant enhancing their general physical preparedness (GPP) and overall fitness.

For climbers

These classes are designed for increased overall fitness, enhancing the physical and mental strengths that are necessary to support climbing training. Climbers can expect to strengthen and build on endurance and explosive power, which will translate to movement on the wall.

Fitness Classes

Abs & Core

Abs and Core is a challenging and fast-paced Pilates-based core conditioning class. This 50-minute high-intensity circuit class will leave you sweaty and smiling, challenging your core from all angles. You will leave with greater strength, cardiovascular endurance, and overall stability. Be sure to bring a mat, water bottle, and an open mind!

Total Body Fitness

This class focuses on toning and strengthening your muscles using plyometrics and various equipment (kettlebells, balls, dumbbells, and more!). A class designed to teach you proper form and execution of different exercises while putting emphasis on tone, strength and cardiovascular fitness. Ideal for cross training, muscle strength and heart-pumping fun! All levels welcome; modifications to exercises are always offered.

Manny Reyes grew up in Miami, FL. where he began his athletic interest in Wrestling and Martial Arts. He moved to the Bay Area for work in 2010 and knew he belonged after seeing how easy it was to access the outdoors.

After moving, he began to seek a way to stay in shape and, like most people, signed up for your typical gym membership. That gym did not provide him with a competitive community environment or challenge him to develop new movement patterns, so he began to seek other alternatives. He found CrossFit and right away he knew it fulfilled his need for a program that challenged him to develop new skills, such as Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, and Mobility. After Crossfitting for four years, he decided to combine his passed athletic experience to become a CrossFit trainer.

His goal is to pass on his appreciation for movement and proper technique. He enjoys seeing others make progress in achieving athletic skills, and personal goals.

about me

Alison grew up in New York pursuing any form of movement she could get involved in. After many embarrassing trial-and-error attempts in the team-sports arena, her loves of swimming and dancing won out. After completing her degree at the University of Miami, she headed to San Francisco to become a flight attendant and pursued her passion for fitness by specializing in personal training for flight crewmembers while traveling the world.

In 2013 she launched Goldilocks Training, an outdoor bootcamp and group fitness company in San Francisco that aims to eliminate the “one-size-fits-all” approach to fitness. She avidly pursues and studies all forms of training and group fitness modalities in an effort to bring her clients an open-minded total body approach to their health and wellness. In addition to her love of hiking and all outdoor activities in this perfect San Francisco climate, she aims each day to: run a little further, train a little harder, and gain a little more willpower against baked goods.

about me

Danielle is a certified CrossFit Level 1 coach, a holistic nutritionist, and leads PG’s Total Body Fitness classes. She has been passionate about health and fitness ever since college and loves to teach her clients health from a holistic perspective – nourish yourself from the inside out, and you will not only feel better physically but also mentally. She became a coach because she wanted to share her passion and support those on their journey to true health and wellness. You’ll typically find her in the gym lifting heavy weights, outside rock climbing, or at a taco shop eating nachos – she’s a big fan of those things.

About Me

Laura is originally from MPLS where she practiced as a certified personal trainer (Crossfit and Olympic Lifting Level 1, Functional Movement System 1 & 2, Russian Kettlebell Certified Level 1 & 2, and Titleist performance Instructor Level 1,2,3) and yoga instructor (200hr RYT @ CorePower) for 10 years. She shifted her focus and completed her MSW at Augsburg College and now works as a social worker in San Francisco balancing her work with coaching and enjoying F10 classes at Planet Granite.
