For climbers

These classes are designed for increased overall fitness, enhancing the physical and mental strengths that are necessary to support climbing training. Climbers can expect to strengthen and build on endurance and explosive power, which will translate to movement on the wall.

F10 Fundamentals

Our Fundamentals course is for the beginner weightlifter who has little to no experience in weight training, body weight movements and/or Olympic lifts. Fundamentals is required to attend the F10 Fitness or Strength classes unless otherwise evaluated by our fitness manager, Manny.

about me

Danielle grew up in the Bay Area and currently lives in San Francisco. She has been a certified fitness trainer since 2014 and specializes in functional fitness. She also attended Bauman College in Berkeley and is a certified holistic nutritionist.

Growing up, Danielle was never an athlete. She had never run a mile, never gotten the euphoric high after a heavy squat session – her friends would even say she hated to sweat. One day, she decided to take a leap of faith and hire a personal trainer. She let go of fear and took the first step towards living a more active lifestyle and fell in love with weightlifting. It’s been 10 years since then and she regrets not starting sooner. She wants all her clients to see that it doesn’t matter who you are, when you start – how in shape or not in shape you are – start somewhere! We were all beginners at one point and there’s nowhere to go but up on the journey to health.

One of Danielle’s favorite things about being a trainer is being able to witness the progression in each of her client’s strength. Its incredible to see how capable the human body is and how much it can adapt. Watching clients hit personal records – seeing ladies who couldn’t do a single pull-up hit 5 in a row – is the best part of the job.

Collin

Fitness Instructor

Collin was born and raised here in San Francisco. Through out his life he has participated in wide range of athletic activities such as gymnastics, baseball, and backpacking.

Collin found his passion for CrossFit right out of College. He began coaching soon after and continued to explore the realm of stability and mobility with the help of Kelly Starrett.

Collin believes in having a great time in the gym and helping clients leave the gym feeling better than they did when they walked in.

Collin decided to dive deeper into the world of soft tissue body work. He received his certification in Structural Integration (Rolfing) in 2013 and has been working with clients of all athletic abilities. His goal with body work is to use applied pressure with movement repatterining to “iron out” all the aches and pains that impede us from performing our best in and outside of the gym.
