Our Fundamentals course is for the beginner weight lifter who has little to no experience in weight training, body weight movements and/or Olympic lifts. Fundamentals is required to attend our F10: Fitness and Strength classes unless you have been otherwise evaluated by our fitness manager, Hillary. Planet Granite members and guests are welcome to take F10: 20/20/20, F10: Basics, or F10: Alpine classes without attending a Fundamentals course.
In this Fundamentals course you will learn lifts such as back squat, front squat, clean & jerk, snatch, kettlebell swings as well as body weight movements such as handstands and pull-ups. This is a 5 hour course offered once per month. Pre-registration is required and you must attend the entire course in order to start the F10 Fitness and/or F10 Strength classes.*

Can’t make our F10 Fundamentals classes but still want to do F10 Fitness and Strength? You can also attend F10 Basics classes three times per week for two weeks, and then do a one on one training session (1.5 hours or less) to learn the Olympic lifts.*
*There is a one time cost associated with both fundamental training options.
