October is the best time of the year to score cheap sweets at the grocery stores, get lost in a haunted mansion, and make your donation dollars doubled towards the American Safe Climbing Association (ASCA) to help them replace bad bolts on your favorite outdoor climbs.

The ASCA is the only national and international group to fund local re-bolting activity. They’ve provided almost 15,000 bolts to expert volunteers who make their local crags safer for everyone.

One of the many ways you can contribute is by purchasing pre-owned outdoor gear from the ASCA’s eBay store. Every item in the store still have plenty of life in them, waiting to add to the thrills of your next adventure!

Now is the time to contribute to the cause—check out this video with the Vice President of the Bay Area Climbers Coalition Casey Zak.  Then share it, and spread some bad bolt awareness!
